About Spruce Point Management Services

Spruce Point Management Services was established in 2024 by the owner, Kristen Kelley, who has over 24 years of experience in real estate association management. She has a diverse background, having worked as a supervisor, bookkeeper, auditor, payroll specialist, human resources manager, travel consultant, event planner, and office operations manager.

If you need temporary or part-time office management services, feel free to reach out to us. Our specialty lies in assisting new management get started, or helping organizations transition when they suddenly lose their Executive Office or Manager.

Kristen is currently completing her coursework for the National Association of Realtors RCE certification and is attending the year-long Joel Singer Society for Exceptional Leadership Masters program through the California Association of Realtors. This exclusive program is only open to 8-10 Association Executives every other year.

Our expertise lies in working with not-for-profit organizations, corporations, and real estate associations. We can assist with real estate association NAR Core Standards requirements, Membership Billing, Broker Control Tool (BCT) Membership deadlines, Code of Ethics requirements, Fair Housing Requirements, MLS Billing, Governing Documents, and more.

Timelines to watch for:

Please remember the following important dates and processes:

- The real estate membership billing process should start in September, receive approval from certain state associations in October, and be distributed by November or December. Dues are typically due on January 1st of each year.

- Financial planning and budgeting for 2025 typically begin the process in August or September and require board approval by November or December.

- December 31, 2024, is the deadline for real estate associations' Code of Ethics requirements.

- December is the deadline for NAR's Core Standards requirements.
